Julie Collins

- Julie fiddles with the best of them! She started her violin career under the masterful eye of concert violinist and champion fiddler Jim Shupe over twenty years ago and has performed with her Peter Prier handmade violin throughout the United States as well as two tours to Europe as a fiddler and band leader for the Rocky Mountain Folklore Association, a touring folk dance team. Mike and Julie Collins met at a bluegrass college class. There were 15 people signed up, but they were the only 2 that showed up the first day! It had to be fate! Her five young children keep her hopping, but she still makes time for one of her best loves - music!
